But I've little time for their Manager or Chairman and their fans are a total disgrace.

njot the worse team as 2 will finish below them but what a shocking season for them. Champions league semi finala few years ago. Wish it would happen to Chelsea.

The rumours are Chelsea were 100m pounds in debt and 10 days from being liquidated.

Fortunately for Chelsea they had property in a rich part of London and are very close to the airport.

So a rich Russion Billionaire came in and invested 350m to write off the debts and attempts to buy all the best players (with his own personal unlimited finances) to turn Chelsea into the best team in the world.

This has worked for to some extent, they have had success since the take over.
There are signs though that all is not well at Chelsea, but no one really knows whats going on.

All we do know is that Chelsea have run at a loss of approximately 80M pounds for the last 2 years and there are no signs this will change.

The chances of Leeds beeing saved in a similar way are very unlikely.
Such as London/Chelsea is a much more attractive place for a rich investor.
Chelsea although in great debt were one of the top 4 sides in the country when they were bought out.
