The playoffs start in a few hours, so let's hear all the "experts" here pick 'em.

    Mine:

    East:

    Celts crush Hawks
    Pistons get past 76ers
    Magic edge Raptors
Wizards over Cavs (who have flopped since the big trades)

West (tougher; only 7 wins seperate the no1 seed from the no8; that the same amount that seperates the Celts from the no2 Pistons in the east):

Lakers over Nuggets (though it won't be as easy as some think)
    Hornets nip Mavs
Suns dethrone Spurs in a classic
    Jazz manhandle Rockets

I see the Magic and Celts going to the eastern Conference finals. Like the Suns to win the West. Think Boston wins the championship.

    East
    Celts Over Hawks
Pistons over 76'ers(thought I think Philly will give them a hard time.
    Wizards over Cavs
    Magic slightly over Raptors.

    West
    Lakers over Denver
Mavericks over Hornets-I don't think Dirk is going to let another quick exit happen.
I'm hoping for Suns over Spurs but I think it will be Spurs over Suns in 6.
    Jazz slightly over Rockets.

    Cletics over Hawks
    Pistons over 76ers
    Magic over raptors
    Wizards over Cavs

Celtics vs. Pistons in Western Finals

Celtics will go on to win it all

    Lakers over Nuggets
    Spurs over Suns
    Jazz over Rockets
    Hornets over Mavericks

The Western confernce should be very interesting, with many stars ffrom the teams being hurt throughout the season, so if the injury bug comes back to bite anyone, it makes the West just that much more of a coin flip.

A lot of the "experts" expect a Laker sweep. But this isn't your average 1 v. 8; the Lakers won only 7 more games and the Nuggets have two of the best players in the league and a tough inside presence in Camby. The Nugget perimeter defense is pretty porous, however, and I think the Lakers take it in 6.

Denver has two of the best OFFENSIVE players in the league and no defense except for Camby, and the Lakers swept them in the regular season without Pau! The pressure is definitely on Denver in this series, and it looks like they didn't start out that well (AI ejected and Pau and Kobe +30 scoring).
