The easiest away fixture LFC have played in a while.
0-3 LFC.
Arsenal must be kicking themselves for going out to this lot. Bring on Valencia in the semi's 🙂
good to see you're still going mate !
what say we all have a pint in athens to celebrate after the game ?
us vs man utd in the final
Originally posted by scoop122Tough match for us tonight, I reckon. United have travelled with 4 first team defenders, O'Shea, Brown, Ferdinand and Heinze + one youngster, Heaton, and two players who haven't even played a reserve game... Saha and Fletcher. If we can get out of Rome with a draw (preferably score draw), I'd be happy.

Originally posted by ElleEffSeeeIt's hard to say. It only takes one momentary slip at home (after 0-0 away) for things to go pear-shaped. If we can at least get Evra back (anybody know what's wrong with him? ), then our chances are improving, but with just O'Shea (average), Brown (naive and brain dead at times), Ferdinand and Heinze as our only experienced defenders, we're going to struggle in Europe, especially considering we may be starting with Smith tonight and the fact that Saha always needs a few games before he comes into form.

Vidic's injury has possibly ruined a potentially very good season for us.

O.K,
It's half time in the 1st leg.
A quarter way through the tie,
Man Utd are 1-0 down but playing away,
Chelsea are 1-0 down but playing at home.
Anyone care too make a prediction on who's looking good to join LFC (barring a miracle) in the semi's?
Also LFC easy prediction.
Bayern have 2 away goals so I say they will go through.
After Chelsea drew at home I think Valencia will go through.
I have a funny feeling a Bayern vs Valencia final is on the cards...
