it is time to take an unbiased look at the teams of the world and rank them fairly based on their skill today, not 50 years ago.

And USA was robbed of at least one of those victories
Just look at the current SA Rugby team for an example of this.

Uh... well... they have the advantage of not having to play a sport in which it is extraordinarily difficult to score.
If a team is good enough, they will score enough points against the opposing side to mitigate bad referee calls. No matter what the sport...

most other sport use some sort of technology when it comes to scoring. football has nothing, i've seen it happen when team A should've had a pen or had a shot cross the line but it wasn't given and team B instantly go down and score at the other end. a 2-goal swing just because of a dodgy refereeing decision. that's huge.
