A good hire for Sheffield Utd? Was there any one better to be had? Can he bring them back up?
United have never really attracted 'big name' players, hopefully BR may be able to rectify this. After all, didn't he acquire Juninho for Boro?
I think the fact that Brian Kidd is stepping up from 'coach' to 'assistant' makes Robson's job easier.
So yeah, over all I'd say it was a good move by the club.

I think they wanted someone new to the club with fresh ideas. That combined with the fact that Macca hasn't actually managed yet maybe had something to do with it.
I would've given him a shout actually.
