If you started this because he is a unique top notch baseball player, then great.

If you started this because he is East Asian, then you are a sick twisted racist turd.

pitcher will usually develop arm and shoulder problems
    they will
have to decide whether he is more valuable as an everyday player or pitcher
I don't think he can do both for long

I follow the SF giants when they are on UK tv so I've only seen him once when they played the Angels but he is pretty impressive.
    Don't really know why I "adopted"the Giants .
Possible because I liked the scenery at their stadium and watching Bumgarner pitch!!
One question is how long will he stay at the Angels?
I'm sure some of the richer clubs will be after him.
This begs the question, if he goes to the Dodgers for instance will he pitch or bat or both in different games?
In the game i saw he did both anyway!!
As an aside , i did hear somewhere the National league are talking about having a "dh" so perhaps the question won't arise.

Yes ,I know Bumgarner has left the Giants but I still watch their games when ESPN choose to broadcast them. It's a bit "hit and miss",but I record them when advertised. If they put another game on instead then I usually just delete it.
The worst example was one year when instead of showing the final game of the world series they showed a basketball game instead, in my book the most boring sport ever.
I wrote a letter of complaint and they said they had "no control" over it

    He went 0 for 2.

For those who do not know what that means, I knew the meaning as a 4 year old, it means he got to bat 2 times and failed to get a hit.

    He did pitch well.

    So what?

The discussion was about his all star game appearance.
