@lemondropsaid I checked his injuries during his career
no concussions
his blind side was well protected
his linemen were well paid
There's no question that when an athlete takes care of his/her body with continuous exercise, that their chances for a long career increase. Look at Jerry Rice, a great example of an athlete working out year round throughout his career.
Yet..... some luck is likely, due to freak injuries beyond anyone's control, especially in sports that demand consistent physical contact.

I agree an athlete looking after their body is very important, as is watching what he/she puts in it.
In Brady's case he does work hard at it, some luck is involved of course, but one could say we make our own luck. He also has had some exceptional people protecting him who sometimes go unnoticed. I don't believe he gets sacked a lot, although I don't watch every game.
@lemondropsaid duh
that's what high paid linemen are supposed to do
protect the franchise
Duh........Then why are the other high paid linemen not doing the same job for their QB? 🙂 😛 I think it is because Brady is also much smarter than the other QB'S! 😉

brady does not move out of the pocket and so is easier to protect and you are right about him being smart
he has learned over the years not to take a hit
