Second half of the Gold Cup final and Mexico is 3-0 up the yanks.

There's few things in this world as pleasant as kicking American butt.

I hope the Green Mice repeat the dose in the qualifying match in few days.

Of course if they don't, this thread will be a space for joy for the yanks. And well deserved.

Anyhoo... this will put on hold their plan to name their MLS league winner as "World Champion", lulz

Carlos Vela is world class. The Gunners can't go wrong with him!

    In Wenger we trust!

I'll bet it will be even sweeter when and if you find an American who gives a hoot.

Vela is class. All credit to Mexico for a great second half......

.........even if it did come against the US 'C' team.

I thought the last tournament wher the USA got 2nd was a big one. Is this one more important?

Good point. And the mothers of some of the players might have cared too.

This site is about FANS, though. And US fans care about as much about today's game as they do about who won the Louisiana bass fishing title in 1987.

I'll enter any thread where I perceive America-bashing if it's all the same to you. Thanks for the advice, though.

If the countries were people,America would clearly be the biggest bully. If anyone needs a bashing its America.

Well, if you're gonna use impeccable logic like that, I guess I really can't argue.

This was the C team indeed. Confederations Cup much more important. This is Mexico's 1st victory on US soil in ten years! Against the C team. Not much to be proud of.
