@lemondrop saidJust before I went to see my one and only MLB game there was a batting cage, having never played baseball before but the odd game of cricket and rounders I thought I'd give it a go. Are 10 pitches normal? I can't remember how many, hit one and clipped another behind, wasn't wearing gloves and the one I hit stung, didn't mind missing the others after that.
hit a fastball
make a 3 pointer
kick an extra point
you get 10 tries in each
Much more likely to make the 3 pointer though, doubt I'd need the 10 attempts, should get it in 3.
@trev33 saidhitting a major league fastball is considered one of the hardest things in sports, most would bail on every pitch, at 95+ or swing late

I think the 3 pointer would be doable but if you had the leg strength, kicking an extra point would be the best chance to score in this poll

@lemondrop saidYou should try catching a puck in the net going over 100 miles per hour! 😉

@lemondrop saidWonder what the batting cage machine pitches at, I think if you kept swinging late you'd adjust and swing early and just guess where the ball was going to be. I'd rather have a shot at a fastball than save a hockey puck.

3 pointer would be easier imo but it depends on what you're used to I guess.
@trev33 saidbatting machine pitches around 70 mph i've heard

so swinging late is not much of a problem
and on 3-pointers
if you can reach the basket one will eventually fall in
any 400 pounder could save a hockey puck
@lemondrop saidBeing less than half of 400 pounds I'd take my chance with the fastball thanks.

Scoring a drop goal in rugby would be harder than all 3 though.
@trev33 saidThat rugby does look hard!! Jeeze I wouldn't want to be the goalie, he doesn't have much of a chance in that game. Do they even have a goalie in that game? You would right to say I don't know that game.

@very-rusty saidthere was a commercial that had a walrus as the goalie

covered the entire net
@lemondrop saidAll day long! A beautiful left foot curler in the corner.
scoring on a penalty kick in soccer would be a challenge
As for the others....erm pass. And when I say pass I mean fail.
@lemondrop saidA sumo wrestler would make a good opponent for rusty.
