3. An active pastime; recreation.
They put as much effort into practice and are dedicated to their snooker. The dictionary also agrees that it is a sport.

Everyone can watch it and (almost) everyone can play it.
It's a great excuse to get out of the office and ditch work (and be sponsored by your company in the case of golf days).
It's decent exercise too, plus you can catch some sun, while clinching dea ...[text shortened]... ents.
You can successfully play it until you are OLD.
There's just nothing bad about it.
Also the 2 most boring sports ever invented. U spend all ur time standing still when ur playing cricket apart from a second jog between the wickets every now and again when the bowler finds the energy to run up and twirl his arm over his head.
Golf is mostly walking. Y not go on a hike instead
