I didn't get to watch any of it, but I figured that's how it must have gone - Fed had 50+ unforced errors on the stat sheet.

I'm starting to rethink my claim that Nadal won't win the US Open.

He could do worse than speak to Phil Taylor. When Taylor lost to van Barneveld he lost his unshakeable belief that he was invincible. Then he couldn't win a game for ages. Now, he's back on top again, playing better then ever. Problem with Federer is he knows he's no longer the best, and when you lose that confidence, you tend to lose a lot more with it. I doubt there's any other reason, it's not as if he's forgotten how to play.

People hate athletes who win to much. What a world.

I saw the first set of that and Federer was awsome....pretty much back to his best!

I think on that on that form he would has battered Nadal! Especially on a fast hard court.

Murray proved that Nadal had run out of gas so if it had been Rafa to meet Roger, I think Rog would have won anyway, just given how pooped Rafa looked against Murray. Then it was Murray who collapsed against Roger. So you can't count him out just yet! I think you would be in pretty bad shape if you had contracted Mono too.

    Fitter...............maybe

    Howver Federer has better shots!!

Hence Fed will always be remembered as a better player than the vastly overrated Nadal!!
