Some awesome tennis played.
One of the most exciting matches I've seen in the past 30 years.
The level of tennis from both players was exceptional.
I can't wait for the U.S. Open now!!!😵
Yes indeed the final was exceptional stuff, I enjoyed it immensely.
I was happy to see Fed win again, but I was very impressed with Nadal making it such a tremendous struggle.
Cannot wait to see what happens if they can make it to the Finals of Canada or Cinncinnati and play each other. We will have to see if Nadal can figure it out at the US Open still, he may have to play James Blake, who has beaten him 3 out of 3 times.
It would be amazing for them to play the finals of the US Open though, to have them contest Major tournaments on all three surfaces in the same year, it would be a true test.

Hey T, how goes it?
I like Blake also, but he just can't seem to put it together mentally.
A Federer v. Nadal final at the U.S. Open would be awesome!
I would try to scrounge some tickets for that one.
Going to see Pete Sampras play WTT a week from today.
Although the format is not the same as a tournament, it will be fun because the venue is quite small compared to Armstrong or Ashe courts at the U.S. Open.

I hear Pistol Pete is unbeaten since he returned to action.

Saw him play a bit in the Champions tourney in Boston a few months ago. It was great to watch an actual serve and volley player tear up the baseliners. I know he was unbeaten in that tourney and I can't imagine anyone on the WTT tour taking him out.
