    I have a new tablet, and every time I write a post here, I write it, then I look up and it's often not what I wrote at all. Words substituted directly in the text, words I never wrote. How can I get the thing to suggest corrections, but NOT take it upon itself to actually replace words in my text? This is annoying as hell, having to correct all my texts again after writing it the way I want the first time.

    Google is your friend.
    "Autocorrect samsung galaxy5" or somesuch depending on brand and model.
    Lots of 6 year olds writing stuff for Google. 😊

    @Suzianne
    I have a galaxy S20, latest one, and get that spell check crap when sending texts.

    But I just keep X'ing it out and after a couple of rounds of that the word I want stays in place.
