Banded available to date: one duel (2 games) and one octet (14 games) but only 8 places available for the octet, no chance to get in unless you check every few minutes, if your rating's near 1200.

I don't like to be forever annoying Russ and Chris, just in case I'm the only one who wants whatever-it-is.

What I would really like to see is some sort of a tournament schedule, say a monthly set of banded duels, a weekly set of banded octets (which are all over in one round, after all) and a mid-monthly set of open regular tournaments. Thematics and sponsored could then be put up in say the last week of each month. Like the issue dates they have on puzzle magazines, so you know when to go to the store.

We get plenty of tournaments, just not on weekends. I'm sure there'll be a nice large fresh batch of tournaments tomorrow.

I just said tournaments, not necessarily tournaments with time controls everybody likes. 😛

Just request one (or a string of them, maybe) and I'm sure you'll get some.
