Young guy with with 56 birthdays behind me was taught the moves of chess when I was about ten but never took it up till in my twenties played with a guy I worked with we would go into work early every day and play for about half an hour before we started work played for about three months before I got my first draw well stalemate but was very pleased with myself after a while my friend thomas bate joined the Civil Service Chess club played for a season or two then got married and eventually stop
