The Allies war with Japan ended in 1952 ... except for the USSR - who
had a separate treaty so their war with Japan officially ended in 1956.

Who created the lightbulb?
From Wikipedia:

In 1802, Humphry Davy used what he described as "a battery of immense size",[12] consisting of 2,000 cells housed in the basement of the Royal Institution of Great Britain,[13] to create an incandescent light by passing the current through a thin strip of platinum, chosen because the metal had an extremely high melting point. It was not bright enough nor did it last long enough to be practical, but it was the precedent behind the efforts of scores of experimenters over the next 75 years.[14]

It is well known that T.A. Edison did not invent the lightbublb, but made technological advances which made a Commercial product from it.

1. When did WW2 end?
All the other "ha-ha got you" answers here are nonsense.
WW2 ended when Japan signed the formal instrument of surrender September 1945.
(Although V-J Day, August 15 is also accepted since Japan announced it's surrender on that day)

You seem to confuse "war" with "fight".

But I do. The "war" was on until Versailes and the other "suurb-treaties" and the German populace who had longed for peace hungered another half year, du to wartime boycotts. One of the factors leading to the second world war.
