Baseball, like all sports has been somewhat stunted this year.
I like to watch the SF giants on u.k t.v when they show it (I record it)although it's a bit "hit and miss" as sometimes they replace the advertised programme with Basketball or American football which I have no interest in.
I "adopted" the giants mainly because I liked to watch Bumgarner pitching(not any more I'm afraid)and I enjoyed the scenery at their home ground(whatever it's called now).
Like others I don't really care that much about results but it's nice to follow a team and monitor their progress.
I assume it's the Dodgers who won the world series not the Angels and as a Giants fan I'm supposed to hate the Dodgers -but I don't.
Having said that I don't suppose I can be called a proper "fan"

@handyandysaid I still haven't forgiven the Dodgers for leaving Brooklyn.
It is embarrassing that LA keeps stealing other peoples' teams. I mean really...there are no Lakes anywhere near where the Lakers play. They came from the Great Lakes, that's why they are called that.

Not so much the great lakes because Minnesota borders only lake superior I think.
Its more because Minnesota has 10,000 or more lakes.
Hence, the Lakers.
If a team moves then the name should change IMO
Dodgers have been knocking on the door for a few years here.
I was tugging for them, as they were the eternal enemy of the yankees back in the day.
Also, the Dodgers picked up Mookie Betts, (sigh) and I am a big Betts fan.
Tampa Bay has very good pitching but don't expect them back any time too soon,
as free agents generally jump for the big money a player from contender will garner.
