Help I have a question for anyone from Wales.

There was a writer in the 40's or so that did a series of short stories about a small Welsh village and its inhabitants, pointing out the humorous cultural differences of Welshmen versus the rest of the world.
Does anyone know who the author was? I read them as a kid and thought they were hilarious.

The only one I found that may fit your description would be Ken Smith.
