So are we electing a US President to use the power of government to:

1) Improve the economy and do "good things" for people; or,

2) Protect all of our rights equally?

3) To establish a safe world for our citizens to live freely therein, to make the most of their lives and families. And yes, to protect Constitutional rights. That’s about it.
It is up to the individual to make his own way in the economy which springs as a matter of course from said world. Individuals create the economy. Govt protects it.

The OP suggested that Biden could keep people from needing to go to pawn shops.
