Can you describe the nature of the notification?

The notifications only alert you to other "events" on the site, so the alerted event will still exist elsewhere (game won, tournament won, etc.), even if the notification itself does not.

It was an opponent asking me what type of business I'm in. I don't want him to thing that I'm ignoring him.
