if you resign does it count as a lose, and does it effect the ratings?

I ask as i dont subscribe and i ve got 6 games going but none online.

If you resign, yes it counts as a loss..
If you resign within the first two moves, it won't affect your rating... after that, resign/checkmate have the same affect.

you could of course subscribe, which will not garantuee that you have enough games...

or you could start games with one day timelimit and without timebank. hese tend to be quite fast.

Oh yes and if I have not just startet a faceoff tourney I am happy to play fast chess with you
