formerly you put in a number User 1000

now the number has vanished and the username is in the link to a player, so how does the system work now?

EDIT: the numbers don't work anymore.

This should replace it really - it has been in for a couple of years already :

@Ponderable

For spaces, use a hyphen.

For example.

@Marko-Krale

The user id will still work, but note that user 1000 doesn't exist. User 151943.

I didn't know about this change either, so I went to the FAQ to see what else had changed that I didn't know about. Sadly, the FAQ itself is ill. You can't scroll down so you can only see the first page.

FAQ does need a refresh - I have not mentioned this name link trick anywhere, and only used it in one or two posts, so no surprise no one knew about it.

I'm now questioning my guess of 2 years....let me see.

edit: Earliest post I found was May this year, but sometime before that...!
