I made the last move and my time bank is way less than my apponent. Why is this so? I am ahead in in this game . Could I lose it?

if your timebank goes to zero then yes you will lose the game as you didn't move in the time set at the start of the game.

If you use up all your time, your opponent can claim a win or 'timeout victory'. It has nothing to do with how you are doing in your game.
