No. Subscribers can play more than just tournaments.

Read about subscription via the help section and then cough up and support the site.

i am willing to subscribe but i want to havbe a tournament with freinds that are not members. i was hoping to introduce them to the site via a tournament that we want to play anyways.

essentially i was hoping i could create a tournament as a subscriber and have it open to everyone.

Well, you can organize a tournament yourself, and keep scores yourself. That's what I do with others who are not subscribers.

There is a way to do this. If you subscribe and offer a years subscription to the winner of the tournament then it can be open only for non-subs. See timmy toilets tournament!
