I am fairly new to this website. I just joined this '07.

I have learned a lot about the site features but I have more questions.

How do you give a link to a thread? (edit: I just figured this one out, special thx to our most helpful female member Nordlys and the hospitable Sicilian Smaug)

How do you create a position on the board and give a link? (How to write FENs and is it easy lo learn?)

Are there any other special things like this to learn that will help in the forums?

    Thanks a lot in advance,

    The G Breve

    I can read bro.

    Thanks for your help.

p.s. Why does it write on my forum profile "joined 19th of January" and on my profile it says interestingly "joined 20th of January". Anybody noticed?

That's great! It means you can read the FAQ, which will answer most of your questions. And you can also read the Help Forum, which will answer a lot of the questions the FAQ won't answer.

You must have been able to read long threads (and to dig deeply into the forums) to find out about the rec thing.
