I'm on vacation and I've read the FAQ but my timebank keeps winding down, at the end of my vacation will I have zero timebank going forward even though I cannot get skulled on this occasion ?

Vacation only protects you from skull takers while its flag is displayed, time still counts down, so you will have to stay within the time controls to avoid being caught out later in the game.

The only thing the vacation setting does is disable the option for your opponent to claim a time-out victory.
It does not stop the clocks. They always work the same, regardless of your vacation status.

You can still make moves while your vacation flag is active.
Whenever you make a move, the time-out clock will be reset.
The time bank clock will not be reset.
