Usually when people post a tactical puzzle in here it's over my level and I have little chance of solving it. We have a lot of members rated in the low-mid teens, and I think I'd like to start posting interesting ones for us to solve.
So how do I go about posting the FEN and the PGN for the solution? For posting my games I use the 'copy pgn' feature, but that won't work for posting external positions.

The way I would do it:
Set up the position in a chess GUI program like Arena, ChessPad, Winboard, or any of the commercial GUIs.
Enter the solution's moves into the GUI.
Copy the game pgn into your PC's clipboard. (It's really just a fen position plus a game fragment, but you can treat it as a full game. )
Paste the pgn into RHP just like you'd do for a game. (Sandwiched between the pgn codes)
Once you have the game in your chess GUI program you can copy
any position you wish and post it with [fen]position[fen]
The second fen must be [/fen].
Do a 'Reply & Quote' and you will see how it's done.
White to play.
Position reached 6 times on here - twice White has missed the shot
and then went onto lose.
Just about any decent GUI will allow you to paste either PGNs or FENs, depending on what you want to do.
Maybe Greenpawn is right, you might want to post just the FEN of the problem. If you post the PGN with the solution, it would be tempting for people to take a quick peek at the answer before really trying to solve it.
