A Nigerian chess champion plays the royal game for 60 hours — a new global chess record. NEW YORK (AP) — A Nigerian chess champion and child education advocate played chess nonstop for 60 hours in New York City's Times Square to break the Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon.

And I thought me staying up all night to play bullet chess was something huh 😀 not quite 6 hours let alone 60.

I'm not so impressed. With enough coffee a lot of people can do that.

I like this record much better:

There are not many people who can pull a stunt like that.

What about all these gamers who play for hours on end and suddenly drop dead? I wouldn't want to try such a feat, I get grumpy with the loss of an hour or two of sleep let alone 60.
