Aha, cannibalism! Yes!

Try this one for size: The albatross soup in the diner prompted the first sailor (Sailor A) to commit suicide. Cannibalism occurred at the remote location (desert island?) when Sailor B killed Sailor C (we've established he was a murder victim) without Sailor A's knowledge, and then cut up the corpse to make "albatross" soup. Sail ...[text shortened]... he actual taste of albatross soup) that he had eaten one of his shipmates.

What do you think?

He fell out of an airplane and tried to save himself by grabbing the straw from the drink of the guy next to the door

This is another one similar to one I heard a long time ago with a man lying dead in a field alongside an unopened package, the unopened package being a parachute.
Is it the same one essentialy?

Just to tidy up, the one I heard was where a survivor recieved an arm thro' the post.
These (2 sailors this time) also resorted to cannabilism one of them being a surgeon. The one who had his arm amputated for food insisted the surgeon also had his arm removed when they were rescued to even up the score and send it to him as proof.
However the surgeon cheated and paid someone else to let him remove their arm which he then posted
Who thinks up these things!!!?

Good.
I like new conundrums.
Is the location of "the field" relevant?

Can we rule out death by natural causes?

Is the straw a drinking straw?
