    I enjoyed hearing about the physics prize for developing a way tracking the movement of electrons using flashes of light.

    There always is. There is this one prize and it is really really difficult to chose the one big thing, everyone would agree... 2017 a lot of chemist had the opinion, that the Prize should have been awarded in physics and a much more "chemcial" topic chosen for chemistry.
