Remember that time Trump walked slowly to a church and held a Bible for a photo op? Right before that he was hiding in a bunker.

Defense secretary had to apologize it was so bad.
He also had peaceful protestors on his way tear-gassed. What a great guy.

your handlers are playing the boo game with you…have you hook line and sinker dont they? 😂
Read the Time article for yourself, if you can read and then form your own opinions of what you read. It seems like Trump's opinions are your opinions. Trump, on the other hand, doesn't give a damn what you say, as long as you can still vote for him.

He's got 75 million more just like you, unless they've wised up since the last defeat.

President Biden on Thursday addressed the intensifying pro-Palestinian protests at American colleges, telling reporters that "dissent is essential for democracy" but that "dissent must never lead to disorder."

"There's the right to protest but not the right to cause chaos," Biden said of the protests, which have seen more than 2,000 arrests nationwide. His remarks at the White House were the first since April 22, when he made brief comments to reporters.

“In moments like this, there are always those who rush in to score political points. But this isn’t a moment for politics. It’s a moment for clarity. So let me be clear. Violent protest is not protected, peaceful protest is,” Biden said.

Traps are for defeating lazy people.
If you are depending on a trap, you have defeated yourself.

Chess Fundamentals. There is a reason why this is the title of Capablanca's best known work.

Fundamental mastery > puny, ill-advised traps.

I have to say honestly I don’t know how old everything is, but due to the attributes of God I lean towards a young earth and universe. I have to admit I don’t believe scripture answers how old it is.

I do believe He created everything fully formed that it did not evolve into what we see today, but that doesn’t address age either.

I don’t believe evolutionary theory ha ...[text shortened]... t is a theory in decline, the more we learn the farther away our solutions can answer the questions.
I never said it was unguided. This was God's tool, remember.

There has to be a mechanism whereby it appears to have happened on its own, without God. But I never said it was unguided. It certainly looks unguided, and that's the important bit.

We were given free will to believe, or not to believe. It's all on us. We're not given the answers to the test, and so everyone can make up their own mind, and that, my friend, is the entire point. We decide ourselves, so that no one can say we were coerced, or blame God for not giving us the answer straight out. Free will, man. That is what faith IS.

Right🙂 Fake news all generated by AI, I imagine that would be the wingnut response.
Well, I copy/pasted it to a file on my desktop, but it turned out too big to copy/paste here in its entirety.

Pfft. These are not antifa, they're college kids who don't wanna go to class.

(remembering the time when BLM protests/riots took hold in 140 cities, causing chaos for months, taking over a federal building, trump did squat but tweet and hold a Bible in his hand out front of a church)
The BLM protests were peaceful until, exactly like in this case, bad actors arrived (in Portland, in the form of white supremacist groups) to stir sh-- up and make it look like the protestors were getting out of control. Same exact M.O. Get the bad mojo blamed on the peaceful protestors.

It worked in Portland, mainly because people were so ready to blame the blacks. Didn't work so well in this case because these protestors were little darling white kids who were their parents' pride and joy, whom people weren't so ready to blame for the damage and disruption.

And Antifa is mainly a boogeyman of the right. Someone to blame when the rednecks don't get their way. It's not even an organization with any command structure.

    How Far Trump Would Go
By ERIC CORTELLESSA / PALM BEACH, FLA.
As printed in Time Magazine, Dated May 27, 2024
    April 30, 2024 7:00 AM EDT

    https://time.com/6972021/donald-trump-2024-election-interview/

Please take the time to follow the link and read this Time article about what we can expect in Trump's second term. If you're going to read the article, bookmark it and come back to it if you can't finish it. It's that important.

The article was the result of two interviews with Trump himself over two days at Mar-a-Lago.

Quite telling, and quite scary. America needs to know just what is coming, so we can take steps to avoid it.

We keep hearing about how this election or that election is "the most important election in our nation's history", but this one really is. From the article: "Every election is billed as a national turning point. This time that rings true. To supporters, the prospect of Trump 2.0, unconstrained and backed by a disciplined movement of true believers, offers revolutionary promise. To much of the rest of the nation and the world, it represents an alarming risk. A second Trump term could bring “the end of our democracy,” says presidential historian Douglas Brinkley, “and the birth of a new kind of authoritarian presidential order.”"

Did you see me say I was proving God by the design argument? People who insist that mindless processes can produce either the complexity in life or the fine tuning of the universe are not looking at the evidence for this!

Exactly what is your beef with this discussion? You think that something wrong is going on because there is a discussion about the nature of reality i ...[text shortened]... cience or anything other means of finding truth, but it doesn’t agree with opinions contrary to God.
I'm not talking about mere agreement/disagreement.

There can be no proof for God. If you think you are proving God, you are deluding yourself. People who believe in God believe without proof. That is called faith. It is not "blind faith", every Christian has their reasons for believing in God. But those specific reasons are not proof.

There is no design in waves. They will come with random intervals, and they do not make regular patterns, and no information is present in the random waves.

But the quilt, made by intelligent design, has regularity, and patterns in it, which are totally lacking in the waves.

No design or pattern in the waves. Totally random.
Waves are not random. They are caused by the environment. Wind and seismic activity are two things which cause waves. All wave systems have a wavelength. It's where we get the word from. Waves are regular until something in the environment changes the wavelength.

Again, look up 'cause and effect'.

So you are trying to tell me that if you walk in the desert and you find a watch, then you are not able to conclude that the watch is designed by an intelligent being and not the result of chance??

I wonder if you realize how stupid that sounds.
It is a stupid analogy on the face of it.

If you walk into the desert and find a computer, or a telephone, or an umbrella, or a thermometer, was it designed by someone or was it blind chance?

Completely stupid. Everything technological was designed. You cannot compare that to nature. Duh.

About the duons that peer reviewed scientific article says:

"dual coding is nearly impossible by chance"

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17511511

If it cannot come into being by chance, then it has to come into being by intelligent design.

And intelligent design proves an Intelligent Designer.
    No.

Environmental pressures cause mutations. Mutations are never caused "by chance". Some are just incredibly useful.

Cause and effect. Try researching that.

Not true. If somebody walks though the desert and finds a watch, then only a total idiot will not recognize that the watch is designed, and not the result of chance.

    Desigin is simple to recognize.
I wonder if you realize how stupid that sounds.
