That there be 11,000 posts or more is the only condition I seek to place upon contributions to this thread; the details are up to you.

I would have thought: 20% of them, surely. But then again, he hardly ever posts on any threads I start, if at all ~ although to be fair, this one is an absolute cracker.. Either way, we may have to go it alone.

I think you're daft to say it sounds like a good idea.😠

Here is a math problem for you: 11,000 posts. Imagine them being fence posts. How many acres could you cover assuming they are 3 meters apart? And of course lots of baling wire. Or if you insist on feet and miles, 10 feet apart.

Do you want the long answer or the short answer?

I suggest, in the circumstances, the long answer, broken up into sections and sub-sections, each posted separately, would be the way to go.

What do you mean by "fence posts" exactly?

You drive a stick about 300 mm across into the ground and do the next one 3 meters or 10 feet apart, take your pick. Do that 11,000 times and run wire between the posts.
Instant ranch. So making it simple, a big square say, 27,500 feet across or 756 million square feet enclosed so you can hold a million cattle or emu's, whatever.
    About 17,000 acres. Nice spreadπŸ™‚

Thank you for post number 10. It has given rise to this, post number 11. Some way to go yet, but every post gets us nearer.

When you say "you drive a stick", by "you" do you mean me, literally?
