CP, it's about time that you increased your point total from 1 to 1+... don't you think?¿

I'm pretty sure this is one of those unsolvable mysteries.
Work the clues and assign the four pets named. The fifth pet, presumably a fish, belongs to the German. Since the fish is not mentioned among the clues, the solution could be, "No one owns the fish." The German could have a hamster.

You're pulling a rabbit out of a hat, Bobby. There's no precedent for your precedent.

Where are the 8 points you cheated me out of?

Ladies and Gentleman, here's a teaser with no points involved just for the helluva it: "Where is the shortest bridge in the world?" Pretty please with sugar on it, no online searches or Googling. First posted solution counts. Comments may follow.

If the German ever had a fish, then the Norwegian probably pickled and ate it.

I thought we established that this was unanswerable.
(i.e. I bet you never get a proper answer).

I'd say the shortest bridge is the intramolecular connection that spans atoms or groups of atoms. It's microscopic.

Why waste time answering when you can cut and paste?
