Whilst there is fossil evidence indicating that birds evolved from dinosaurs, a hummingbird is not a dinosaur.

Whilst this revelation might lend you a nuanced sense of parochial northern pub-band historical significance, and whilst it might make you a metaphorical dinosaur, it isn’t “thanks-worthy” when considering the contribution dinosaurs have made.
