I think they disappear. Maybe User 67898 would know, I think he recently became a non-sub...you could ask him; he's sometimes helpful. 😉

remember, the vacaiton system became live on March 14 so if he unsubscribed before then, he wouldn't know. 😲

My guess about this is:

If you ARE on vacation and your star runs out... vacation continues as normal. (just like being a clan member, you stick in the clan)

If you are NOT on vacation, you have no vacation time.... or at least no button to click so you can take your vacation.
