Blitz

Having fun here - tried to mate one lad with a second left and screwed it up.
Winning some and losing some - when i can get a game!

Some are just not playing me. No idea why - I'm crap tonight.

On Gameknot I get a game within seconds.

This is no good - we have to get this blitz feature buzzing.

I'm sitting and waiting for ages for a game.

New rule - everyone must visit and play 4 games of blitz everytime they log on.

It's only a piece of fun - come and enjoy yourself.

Well off to bed - played loads of nonsense - played some good moves
This was a good game at 1 minute - a speed I really hate playing.

We really must use this use this feature. Some of the lads are good.
I only got to play some of them once - that's when I discovered they good
and and they were gone. 🙂

I'm White in this one. Nice wrap up.

The firewall at work means that I can't play on the blitz site during the day. I've started using this site instead:

Blitz or not, White's 19th move and Black's reply deserve at least three question marks apiece.

Just seeing if anyone actually plays through these things. Hence the note:

"Plan A - point everything at the King and see what happens. Spot the shot if it turns up."

Saw it the nano-second after I missed it. Brilliant 🙂

A few of the lads when lost with a few minutes just simply let their
clocks run down. I wait for about 45 seconds and then resign.
I never take these games seriously enough to sit there and wait to
claim a silly win on time.

Someone is reading this thread. Just finished an unbeaten session
(cannot recall missing any mates in one!) and it was the busiest I've seen it.

Think I'll Blog it - Make Sunday a Blitz Day.

what time (uk) will y ou usually be on? i'd like a few 5 min games with you !

It varies from day to day. No set time. Just jump into Blitz Pool
every now and then and have some fun. Everybody should do this.
