I did a quick scan through my RHP D.B. looking for the pattern for both sides.
There were a few but not as pure as the original. Other pieces or pawns were
covering critical flight squares. But, as always when I do a random search...Gold Dust!
Black follows the 'Check All Checks' dictum.
You keeping look at them no matter how silly they first appear.
[FEN "3q1k1r/8/4Qp2/2p1n1pp/4P3/N1P4P/P4PP1/1R4K1 w - - 0 27"] 27. Rb7 {It appears White can allow a Qd1+, h2 is a flight sqaure.} 27... Qd1+ 28. Kh2 Ng4+ {Not a spite check but part of a two piece sacrifice.} 29. hxg4 hxg4+ 30. Kg3 Rh3+ {The Rook sac leading to the OP's mating pattern.} 31. gxh3 {Only move. Maybe White was now expecting Qf3+ Qxf2+ and a perpetual.} 31... Qg1# {Checkmate even without the f2 and h3 pawns.}
That is the position as I understand. That pattern is not so uncommon in tactic trainings.
Okay, I don't do endgame studies. There used to be a website for tactics training seems to have disappeared. Tactics training vital on the journey to 2000+

There are still some which offer the service. I sometimes work on my tactics using chesstempo
