An interesting and civil discussion between a Christian and an atheist.

It's more about who believes what, and how it may be changing, and not really about why they believe/disbelieve.

The term "New Atheists", capitalized like that, refers to a particular group of Ĺ•elatively strident public intellectuals who had a kind of heyday a few years ago.

The Christian in the discussion, Justin Brierley, is an annihilationist and describes himself, with tongue in cheek, as a "woolly liberal", so - in that respect - the atheist agrees with him, i.e. death is the end [although believers 'live on']. However, Brierley believes that everyone ends up believing because they all meet God and "bend the knee".
