For all of you, blue or red, republican or democrat, white hat or black hat, one thing needs to be done. And that's VOTING.

It doesn't matter if "there's nobody here worth voting for", you need to forget about write-ins and protest votes or votes for independents. Face facts, either Trump or Biden must get in, and any other vote means you're wasting a possible vote for your least-worst choice between these two.

Every one of you must express a choice if the US is claiming to be a democracy. If you, the rational thinker, do not vote, you will by your failure to vote allow the fanatics and idiots to choose your next president. And also your senators, governors, congressmen.

It's bad enough that you're stuck with an 18th century set of rules, which couldn't cater for media or electronics or just plain dishonesty. But you should be able to work within that framework you've been doing it all your lives or you volunteered to be there.

Now use your heads, rather than your hearts. The best possible outcome is 100% voter response.

I'm pretty sure it's another 4 years of Biden, legally or illegally and whoever is the VP will take over. He should probably pick a male VP because the first female president should be voted in with an election. Is posterity the right word?

Fat chance but if Trump wins we won't get to watch the epic naval battle for the south china sea. 😔

We should implement Ranked Choice Voting as soon as possible and get rid of primaries. The partisan primary system only serves to block choice, forcing voters to vote for candidates only a small number of people actually want.

Multiple parties is better. The two party system is probably outdated.

    Dream on idiot.
You are pathetic if you think Trump would stop the Chinese from taking over the south seas, moving right against the Philippines. They already build 5000 acres of artificial islands and airports on them along with militarization. They are claiming that whole sea for themselves and it doesn't matter who is POTUS in the US, except Biden has said he WILL defend Taiwan for instance and of course your fascist orange anti Christ will say to China just what he said to Putin, do whatever the HELL you want.
He would stop aid to Ukraine so Putin can continue to rebuild the Soviet empire. Did you forget maybe Putin was a KBG agent? He LONGS for the return of Soviet power and when he takes over Ukraine if we don't continue aid he will attack say Moldavia next or maybe even Poland, they have gotten threats by Putin's military, 'we won't be so gentle like we were on our Ukrainian Brothers' that is a quote BTW, in case you only watch Newsmax.

    Back on topic:
The US has 350 million people who should each participate in every election which has the power to affect their lives. It's not possible under the current system, which forces them into one of 4 cattle-pens: democrat, republican, extremist, apathetic.
On rare occasions in the past a true leader has emerged from the population, but they're all in the past.

Voting after informing oneself of the true consequences of handing your precious vote to **** is a real obligation to yourself, your loved ones, and your community. Blindly following a party/religion/fad/individual/slogan is never going to give you a peaceful and comfortable life.

If you want voters to have ID, then issue a Federal Voting ID free of charge to every voter in the US. Send people door-to-door. Contact the homeless - their right to vote is as legitimate as anyone else. Print out the IDs in mobile van stations that comb every neighborhood.

    It will be VERY expensive.

But you NEVER under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVER take away someone's rights and then offer to sell THEIR RIGHTS back to them 'If they manage to jump through the appropriate hoops. HaHaHemHemHarrumph!'

In my country, children register to place themselves on an electoral roll maintained by a fiercely independent body with permanent indexed government funding guaranteed by legislation. All of their establishments have secure premises and printed voter lists which are used to check in arrivals at voter booths. Booths operate for 10 hours on the official voting Saturday, plus a range of hours over a 2-week period beforehand. Postal votes are easy enough to get and voter names are marked when they are issued. No charge is made for any of this, nor should there be.

It's not hard to do, but people need to want it to be done right. Voting really is the key to real democratic government.

It's not about cost. The right to vote is absolute - no matter how poor someone is, no matter their circumstances. If they want to vote, they cannot be denied without EVIDENCE of something disqualifying, like not having US citizenship.

If someone shows up to vote and you have EVIDENCE or TESTIMONY that they are not a citizen, then make them produce countervailing evidence or testimony.

    Otherwise, let them vote.

Facial recognition software. Make sure everyone knows there is facial recognition software at every voting station to make sure no one votes twice. Probably don't even have to install it, TBH. The threat would be enough.

Photo on your mail-in ballot. Electronically submitted. Beautiful!

But nobody votes twice anymore. That died out after the 1970's.
