For all of you, blue or red, republican or democrat, white hat or black hat, one thing needs to be done. And that's VOTING.

It doesn't matter if "there's nobody here worth voting for", you need to forget about write-ins and protest votes or votes for independents. Face facts, either Trump or Biden must get in, and any other vote means you're wasting a possible vote for yo ...[text shortened]... .

Now use your heads, rather than your hearts. The best possible outcome is 100% voter response.
" If you, the rational thinker, do not vote, you will by your failure to vote allow the fanatics and idiots to choose your next president. "

so, if you vote do you become part of the "fanatics and idiots"?

by your reasoning that would be the case

It's obvious the original poster is fooled into thinking Trump being elected would make things worse.
The sad part is when Biden got elected the wars started. The border invasion started. The retail theft got out of control. The list is endless.

Imagine thinking Trump is worse because of some mean tweets and racial talk. Big deal πŸ™„
Everyone knows It's much worse under Biden but we live in an age where people absolutely refuse to admit they were wrong.

The original poster is not talking about anything other than the role of voting in any true democracy. Please do not go off topic by trying to bring parties or individual names into this thread.

Yes, a bit of trash talk and chasing women. Hate Trump? He had some biz deals that went bad, the college that used his name, etc, the Casinos, which automatically breed trouble, he may have had some business losses, but....BUT, most of them were winners. I have lost a few myself. But have won enough, like Trump did. There is no perfect businessman. Warren Buffet has made mistakes.
So that and his floundering ways do NOT take away what he could do for us. He is respected world wide (Short hitters may want to look up the definition) and is a mover and a shaker. Never sleeps, does not depend on people, like Biden does depend on people, such as Obama. They have chatted everyday since day one.
So, do you want 4 more years of Biden, or a refresh button? You will be richer with Trump, I promise. I know that I will be. Look at this way....will you be richer with Biden? Maybe the illegals will...but you definitely will not.

Of course it would.

Let's the rest of us stand up and make sure you don't get your fervent, ignorant wish.

He can't do a damned thing for us.

If someone shows up to vote and you have EVIDENCE or TESTIMONY that they are not a citizen, then make them produce countervailing evidence or testimony.

Otherwise, let them vote.
What a ridiculous statement by you which indicates your openness to voter fraud.

People need to prove entitlement to vote, the onus is on the voter to demonstrate eligibility and the proof they are NOT entitled to vote is the absence of that eligibility.

I'm pretty sure it's another 4 years of Biden, legally or illegally and whoever is the VP will take over. He should probably pick a male VP because the first female president should be voted in with an election. Is posterity the right word?

Fat chance but if Trump wins we won't get to watch the epic naval battle for the south china sea. πŸ˜”
Well no he’s probably already sold it to them. It’s the art of the deal apparently
But cheer up you can watch Russia raping their way across Central and Eastern Europe

Disenfranchisement is thousands of times more common and a much worse problem than voter fraud.

Apathy and feeling like 'my vote doesn't matter' is millions of times more of a problem than voter fraud.

So sure, I'm willing to accept an insignificant increase in voter fraud as long as we address the much greater and more important issues.

Wake up. Nobody wants to vote in these elections anyway - it's too hard and inconvenient. That's UTTERLY wrong and KILLS democracy. Nothing done to make voting harder should be tolerated. Voting must be made much, MUCH easier.

Restricting voting opportunities is undemocratic.
Preventing illegal votes isn't difficult. Feed your identity number into a machine in return for a blank voter slip. Duplications reporting does the rest. The voter slip itself cannot be matched to an individual.

No, I think the '18th century set of rules' hits a nerve, that is what voting is about. Rules. I would like to have rules back, you want to get rid of them. Certainly you have an underlying topic here, it cannot be voting. You may as well say "Just breathe'.
