Both Assad and AQ are providing excellent martyrs for the rebel cause. That picture of the beautiful Catholic girl lying dead with the cross stuck in her mouth...

Did killing Jesus with the cross work for the Jews and Romans? Did it get rid of Jesus and cow his followers into submission?

Jesus' name is praised daily and his followers are the most powerful force on Earth.

Al Qaeda should know better than to provide martyrs for the enemy. I mean...they're radical Muslims. Martyrdom is what they exist for. They know the power of martyrs.

In Syria both sides are worth wiping from the face of the earth.

“[The Americans] are incapable of starting a new war in the region, because of their lacking economic capabilities and their lack of morale,” said Mohammad Reza Naqdi, the commander of the Republican Guards’ elite Basij force.

Why do dictators around the world keep making this stupid assumption?

There are at least three sides.

That picture with the cross features in the debunking link I posted. You should read that.

You might have to read a few back posts on Brown Moses' other blog to get why this is so dramatic ...

Oops was that some sort of Assadist propaganda?

I don't see any discussion of it on that link:
    http://the-assad-debunkation.tumblr.com/

Well Islamists have whacked at least one or two Catholics during all this.

The only thing on that site seems to be about the chemical attack.

    Where you from, ese?

    Syria? Or Arabia?

What colors you flying? Sunni Islam?

People out here fly the Roman Cross. They aren't from Syria either. But we got a system, just like Al-Qaeda does. The Catholic Church.

Islamists - stop murdering Catholics. It will not help your cause.

Not sure what that means - is the Catholic warranty no good because the Church doesn't have a Imperial army any more?

Neither does Al-Qaeda. The Caliphate is long gone. This game is more subtle than that.

Yeah, Arabs are rich and can religiously manipulate people. They learned how to do that from Rome. The richest man in the world is a Mexican-Lebanese Catholic.

Of course, ultimately, Congress will have to fund as they did in Libya.
So they are way upset over the gas attacks which killed all those people so their response is to go in and kill more people?
