At first, I paid because I wanted unlimited games.
When that became old, I continued paying because I was using the forums and felt they deserved the income as a result of my use.
Then I stopped dropping in for long periods of time, so I stopped the sub.
I have been frequenting quite a bit lately, so it may be time for me to foot some of the bill again.

Main Vein Forum Gold.
I actually hadn't noticed that! Is that what you see?
But then this is for the "In Crowd" vote isn't it!
Kind Regards,

Thank you kindly for your response. I'd suggest joining a clan. But I am sure you've seen all the issues going on right now there. You can get to play in tournaments if you enjoy chess.
I usually banter in the General and Clan forums when I am waiting for a move. The way it is now in the clans we don't have the amount of games we use to have, so it gives me far too much time in the forums. π

Most, not all, but most of the arguments here are based on what we see. I see Robbie desperate to join in, but can't because you are holding the 'flip-chart marker'. And he hates you almost as much as he hates me.
I see groups of posters who frequently compromise their principles based on a hierarchy of cyber-allegiances. Partisan principles in play...ignore what is RIGHT focus on what is supporting my in-group.

Thank you, interesting observation.
