My personal favorite, the one I was hoping for the win was Sunday. I'm almost in total agreement with Shav that it's the best writing I've seen yet. An excellent prose hopscotch, thanks for sharing it with us!

In a month or two I'll start up another open competition based on pretty much the same rules as 1-3, i.e. 1000 words, etc, etc. You have plenty of time
