What would you do with it?
What problems might you encounter?
First thing you’d buy?

Detailed or one liner responses welcome.

I’d first take refuge in a secret holiday location for 2 weeks to plan the best way to use it.

Nice idea; maybe take a month!?

I’d definitely opt for anonymity.
Can’t understand people who go public after a big win.

What benefits do you see in doing that?

I was just being contrary. - I would, in reality, tell very few people.

I was surprised to see you say that.

What would you do with your £10m?

I'd give up work immediately. Travel. Help family.

I would buy flats and rent them out to families at modest prices (as low as possible without losing the tax privilege on the repairs.)

I'd stick about half in a fixed term savings account, and continue to do so year after year as long as interest rates remain decent.

With the rest I'd give some to family, maybe a tenner each, travel and start some kind of small charity or business, or both.

Yup.

Work for me would be a weird one. Work gives me so much, so I’d have to find something else to focus on. But yeah, I wouldn’t be dealing with all that on a weekly basis!

I would build a large no-kill dog shelter, and then entice you and FMF with part of the winnings to be permanent live-in caretakers. You two can flip for it, to see which of you two will be top dog caretaker.

Excellent idea Ponderable.

Would also keep you busy managing it.
