The King's Gambit. It can lead to crazy complicated games if you let it. (like this one) My decision to play it was basically to give up a pawn to try and go for a quick kill against the king

?! What was the purpose of this move? If you look at the board, I have three pieces developed to your two and I am about to trade in the center then castle. Sometimes these types of moves are necessary, but you need a concrete reason to fall behind in development.
6. fxe5 dxe5 7. O-O c6
?! Another move that could have been used for developing a piece.
8. d3 Nf6d7
? Moving the same piece twice. The position has now become critical as I am way up in development and you have removed the only defender of the g4 Bishop. I can win a pawn by force.
