A quick win thanks to a blunder by my opponent. However I did play the opening well.

  • 1. e4 e5 2. Ng1f3 Nb8c6 3. Bf1b5 d6
I have played tons of 5-10 min games in this line so nothing new to me
    • 4. d4
      White plays for center control
      • 4... exd4 5. Nf3xd4 Bc8d7 6. Nb1c3 a6
Black can simply play Nf6 here but this move has a slight trap. If I automatically make moves here like Ba4 then b5 and now not the move Bb3? (Nc6 Bc6 and Bb3 is the way to go when black is quite comfortable.) Nd4! Qd4 c5 Qd5 and c4 winning the bishop
        • 7. Bb5e2 h6
This move is a waste of time. The simple Nf6 was better
          • 8. O-O Nc6xd4
Not necessary again but the follow up was bad
            • 9. Qd1xd4 Qd8f6
? This move is bad but I have faced this move in 3 min chess many times and I used to play the automatic Qd3. But since this is a CC game I decided to stop and played a very strong move
              • 10. Qd4c4
! I think this move refutes Qf6 idea and is much better than Qd3?! when Qf6 is what black should play. White does keep a slight advantage after Qd3 but after this improvement this whole plan is under question
                • 10... O-O-O
?? An outright blunder.Other moves available was Rc8 (the immediate Qd8 is bad because if black whats to retreat then why play Qf6 in the first place?) Nd5 and now black must play Qd8 when white has a big advantage. (Qg6?! after Rc8 is bad because I simply play a4! keeping my advantage
                  • 11. Nc3d5
Threatening the queen and mate on c7
                    • 11... Bd7c6
My opponent resigned here as the queen is lost
