Evgeny Vladimirovich Alekseev is a notable Russian chess Grandmaster. He was born on November 28, 1985 in Pushkin, Saint Petersburg, Russia. Achieving his Grandmaster title in 2002, he climbed the ranks and participated in a variety of significant competitions.
Alekseev competed in FIDE World Chess Championships (2004, 2009) and in the Chess World Cup (2005, 2007, 2009, 2011). His remarkable chess proficiency enabled him to secure a win at the Russian Championship Superfinal in 2006, an impressive feat considering the compendium of grandmasters within the country.
