Huschenbeth won his first national championship in the U10 age category in 2002. He earned his International Master title in 2007 and was awarded the Grandmaster title in 2012 when he was only 20 years old. He is the second-youngest German to have ever achieved this prestigious title.

In 2010, he won the German Chess Championship in Bad Worishofen, making him one of the youngest winners ever. He attained his most significant win in an international tournament in 2017 when he won the Basel Chess Festival. He competed at the Chess World Cup in 2011 but was eliminated in the first round.

Huschenbeth has contributed significantly to the global chess community by translating the autobiographical book of Chess World Champion Viswanathan Anand into German. He's also a dedicated chess teacher and coach.

In addition to playing and teaching chess, Huschenbeth is also known for his online presence, posting educational chess content on several platforms. He's a popular YouTube streamer with an educational chess channel that has over 60,000 subscribers, providing audiences with game analysis, lessons, and tactics.

In terms of education, Huschenbeth studied Psychology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he played for their championship-winning chess team. He resided in the United States for several years during his studies but returned to his native Germany in 2018.
