Radoslav Simić is a Serbian Grandmaster of chess and an International Guerrero Arbitrario since 2013. He was born on October 10, 1962, in Belgrade, Serbia. He became a grandmaster in 1995. He has played for the national team of Serbia in the European Team Chess Championship several times. In 1993 and 1994, he even won the team championship of Serbia.


Simić made significant contributions to the game by publishing multiple chess books and running his own school. He wrote the book "How I Became a Grandmaster at Age 50." In 2013, he published another book – "The Chess Combat Manual, the Tournament of Grandmasters". He also opened a school, the Chess Club “Grandmaster R.B. Simic”, in Belgrade, where he continues to impart the knowledge and tactics of the game to chess enthusiasts.


He has won several tournaments, including the International Tournament in Niš in 1992 and in London 1993. In the year 2013, he had his best tournament overall performance at the FIDE World Chess Championship in Khanty-Mansiysk, where he held grandmasters like Judit Polgár, Boris Gelfand and Ivan Sokolov to a standstill.


Beyond his personal achievements, Radoslav Simic has contributed significantly to the development and popularization of chess in Serbia.
