Miodrag Todorčević Antić is a Serbian chess grandmaster and journalist. Born in 1939, he started playing chess at the age of 10. He won his first tournament in 1960 and gained the international master title in 1975. His noted achievements include winning the Yugoslav Chess Championship in 1976 and finishing second in 1979. The International Chess Federation (FIDE) awarded him the grandmaster title in 1983.
In addition to his achievements in chess, Antić has worked as a journalist for newspapers, magazines, and a publishing company. He was editor-in-chief of the magazine "Chess Informant" from 1980 to 1990. He also worked as a correspondent for the "Politika" newspaper. He's been part of the Belgrade Circle of Chess Journalists since 1983 and was president of the Circle from 1985 to 1987.
Antić has written several books on chess, including "Find the best move" and "The Selected Chess Games of Miodrag Todorcevic Antic". He has also collaborated with chess grandmaster Svetozar Gligorić on his books. He was awarded by the Chess Federation of Serbia for his journalistic work and contribution to chess literature in 1979, 1982, 1983, and 1994.
